Watanabe Gosando, whose original business was flexographic plate making, has recently collaborated with Aichi-based printing press manufacturer Orient Sogyo Co., Ltd. to begin handling the “Xpress Series” flexo printing presses for flexible packaging and paper, and the “Xmounter” flexographic plate mounting device.
In recent years, there has been an urgent need in the Japanese packaging printing market to handle “small lots and a wide variety of products,” and flexo printing that supports low-alcohol inks and water-based inks has been attracting attention from the perspective of environmental friendliness and carbon reduction. Our mission is to bring the wave of flexo printing, which is already mainstream overseas, to the Japanese market.
